Still Around

I am still here, I have a slew of posts I can write, sadly most of them Christmas themed. However almost all of them require pictures. I miss my daily let go of talking here. I am still in chaos from the move. I washed my camera on Christmas Eve after attending a party at my husband's Nana's house. It died, I'm sad but I have a new one on the way this week. There are things that are just not supposed to be washed and I guess that is one of them (it was an accident, I am normally more careful  but all I cared was I wanted the clothes for the next day.) My parents are currently in town to visit with the kids and see my new home. Which I love even more now living in in than having it built. It is finally to a clean standard I would love to share but yes I freaking broke my camera in fact Christmas morning are pictures on my iPhone 3G which is like the worst picture you can get. Once I get a chance this week I will up load pictures and share. The year is coming to an end and I want to share goals and such for the new year. I hope those following me will be encouraged to do the same (as I follow most of those following me) so we can encourage one another in the coming year. I have found that my days are changing as my home is becoming even more filled with love.

Caution!!! GLITTER!!!

The title pretty much says it all. So I'm always looking for new ways to get the kids to sit still longer than 2 seconds. So I was of course surfing Pinterest for ways to make this happen. I came across this sensory bottle. It was pretty neat and the blogger mentioned that it gave her a new world when it came to time outs. Okay I think awesome I'll make two because well the red heads in my family don't know what sharing is and frankly they are the two I will use it the most with. Madame Alexander 2013 Doll Release

This year the Madame Alexander Doll Fan Club held their annual Convention in Louisville. This is a weekend long event where the announcement for the Fall line is made (there is a smaller thing done in the spring as well). It was amazing to see the age range that attends these conventions. There were 3 and 4 year olds who were surprisingly brought by grandma, even more surprising were the teenagers there who were super excited about this event and a chance to add to their collection. I brought with me my soon to be 8 year old kid. She thought it was neat to see what options were out there for Madame Alexander Dolls , and since getting a sneak at the launch announcement has decided she wants to be on their design team, and to own most of the dolls. This year celebrates the 90th year for Madame Alexander Dolls, which were started on the kitchen table of Madame Beatrice Alexander Behrman in 1923. It Took a Pandemic

 It has been a SUPER long time since I have had the urge to blog. I don't even know if it is still a thing with YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook being the bigger deal. Journaling has been more my thing, I don't do it much but it has been an outlet for me. However here I am finding a new place, or rather an old place, to talk. At the beginning of 2020 I did what I have done for the last two years, picked a word that would be my word of the Year. Mine was Fit. It encompassed so many things in that one word. As the year we never expected to happen, is now starting to close I feel like I let go of my word. I have not gotten "fit", I've not found my "fit." I know this was the word meant for me. I've discovered a new hobby, I know what it is like to be at home full time once again. I miss working, I miss a classroom full of noise.  I'm back here because of my word. Let me explain why.
