Getting to know me

So I have blogged for family in the past. Now I want to share with friends more of my life. Maybe make some new friends along the way. My name is Katharine. I'm married to a wonderful man his name is Bobby. We have been married for 7 wonderful years. Together we have 4 beautiful children from 6 years old to a new baby. Three of our children were blessed to us in 3 short years. I'm busy. I participate in an local board of mommies who do play groups, I am learning to coupon, I am busy with my small children helping them discover the world, and I have a few online groups I am active in or run.

I am hoping that people can journey with me as I figure out how to coupon. See the crafts I create, sometimes with the help of my children. I'll introduce each of our kids as time allows. They all deserve their own posts, as they all have their unique quirks that I love. We are always growing as a family and not just in size.

I myself am a military brat. My father was in the Air Force for many years, and I was actually born overseas. When I met my husband he was in the Army, so I have done my fair share of travel. We have however settled down in Kentucky. This is home for my husband and I don't see us moving anytime soon. Some of my blogs may relate to how I grew up and how I hope my children are benefiting from what I learned. The title of the blog refers to how sometimes it is hard to fit everything in. I have found however, there is always room for love and maybe share with how busy things get, we always mange to fit in ways to show it.

Hopefully I can make sure I fit in a way to share with you how I fit in the love within my busy week. This week I will dedicate to allowing you to get to love my family. I'll refer to each of the kids with their own nicknames. My name I will share and of course my husband's is the name he grew up with. Tomorrow I will focus on me.

Family Pictures

Alright so we are what is considered a big family these days. I am lucky and my photographer loves his subjects as my photographer is my father-in-law (FIL). I had him do some family pictures this month so we could have a cute Christmas card. Our problem is the kids are so young so half the time one or more kid is not looking at the camera and this is often the result. Okay so that is sort of cute. Let's see what else results from a large family. Okay this one is not so bad, other than the face. This is a little better, again so many people and under the lights it can get warm (yes he has professional lights and will have a studio this next year.) At this point. I was sure we were done. Christmas Crack?

Okay so in January of 2009 I joined a cloth diaper board called Cloth Diaper Nation . I had just found out I was expecting my third child the summer before and after loosing a computer hard drive to Diaper Swappers 's viruses they were having trouble with at the time, I jumped ship for another place to get diapers. See with my second baby I decided I wanted to cloth diaper and just knew I would need loads more diapers after having my third child, and would now have two babies in diapers. I ended up finding the ladies of the board very interesting. I loved that there was no edit button and you had to own what you said there. What I did find strange was their chatter about crack. Heck they even ran a co-op of this crack. I didn't get it at first. I began to understand this was a candy of sorts. So I just pushed it off. I Survived

So a couple of months ago on Facebook I had a message from someone I went to middle school/high school with. We hung in the same circle of friends. We however we never really that close, always keeping each other at arms length. I can say she was more of my "bully" than friend. In this message she told me she was sorry. She realizes that her actions and words were harmful to me. She told me that what she did and said all those years ago were not the actions of a Christian that she thought she was. I cried, why, probably because it was the first time in over 15 years someone said they were sorry and meant it. I'm not perfect, I would be crazy to say I was. I come with battle scars. How I view myself is a result of YEARS of being bullied. I don't think I have even talked about how much it still effects my everyday life with my amazing husband.
